This is going to be unbelievable
Oh man, this going to be a treat.
Apparently the Colloquiums now have a tradition of pulling together everybody – all choirs, over 200 people – to sing one last final hymn after the end of Sunday’s Mass. Last year’s piece, Bruckner’s Ave Maria (that’s the recording), just blew me away.
This year, we’re practicing an Ave Maris Stella by Liszt Ferenc, and it’s just beautiful. It needs a little more practice, but it’ll be amazing. I’ll post the recording next week.
I can’t wait.
