Lately I’ve been dealing with the impending big change in my career direction. At first it’s challenging, scary, terrifying, but then that shifts.
I happened to run into a friend in the cafeteria today. I had worked with him some years ago, and both he and I have moved into much different jobs. I was startled when he made reference to a question I had asked him way back then. Although I have absolutely no memory of the context or the conversation, this is something which has stuck with him for years and continues to be a point which led him to a personal epiphany.

I learned something very, very interesting this week. It started with a presentation by David Rock on his coaching approach, which he calls “Brain-Based Coaching.”
I’ve noticed something very interesting about this industry. Over the years I’ve tended to run into the same people over and over again. They might have changed companies, I might have changed jobs, but then I run into that person again.
