The recent disaster in Japan makes me think about my priorities.  I spend so much of my time focusing on the mechanics of building my business that I can forget that there’s a bigger picture here.

I recall a conversation with a colleague some years ago.  His theory was that you should look at how you spend your time in terms of how much you’re paid per hour in order to help you make tradeoffs.

The information you take in

I heard about a discussion recently with a lady who was decrying the direction that this country is headed. My understanding was that she’s concerned about the influence of religious fanatics of various faiths and that religious law will overcome the United States.

I happen to disagree, but that’s not the point.  We can all hold opinions and express our concerns, it’s a free country.
