A Matter of Perspective"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Let me have you ponder the difference between these two questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cWhy is this problem important?\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cWhy is that problem important?\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It\u2019s a pretty subtle distinction, but potentially quite crucial. Perhaps I\u2019m  the boss and you work for me. When we talk about \u201cthis problem,\u201d it\u2019s quite  close \u2013 something that is within our grasp. When we speak of \u201cthat problem,\u201d  it\u2019s a little more distant, something which is perhaps out of reach.
