Lately I’ve been dealing with the impending big change in my career direction.\u00a0 At first it’s challenging, scary, terrifying, but then that shifts.<\/p>\n
As I start getting used to the idea, and start imagining a new future for myself, it becomes more real.\u00a0 As it becomes more real, I start talking it over with others, working through the issues in my mind.<\/p>\n
Which makes it less unknown, less terrifying.<\/p>\n
But then I start mapping out my new future, which is a very creative process.\u00a0 The whole world is open to me, limited just by my energy and imagination.\u00a0 Which is — dare I say it? — even inspiring.\u00a0 I love the creative process, so being in that mindset is fun and energizing.<\/p>\n
Yes, it’s scary.\u00a0 I don’t know if I’ll pull it off.\u00a0 I don’t know what surprises are in store for me, either positive or negative.\u00a0 I’m not sure how this will affect my family and friends.<\/p>\n
But once you step back from being terrified, just being unsure and scared is not bad.\u00a0 My challenge is to use that nervous energy to help build my vision for the future.<\/p>\n
