Back in the day, Disneyland rated their rides in letters.  The A rides were ho-hum.  The E rides were the most exciting, the roughest... and they were what people paid the bucks for.  

So why didn&#039;t the E ride scare people away?  Because they were sure they would come out of it alive and better for the experience.
